Terms of use and sale (end-user license agreement)

Last updated: 8 November 2026

Version 1. These terms govern the download, free trial, purchase and use of UltraZone (“the app”). By ticking “I have read and accept” in the app, or by installing or using it, you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t install or use the app.

1. Who we are

  • Owner: Andreu Martínez Arribas
  • Tax ID (NIF): 47886131Q
  • Address: Calle Diego de Almagro 13, 08204 Sabadell (Barcelona), Spain
  • Contact and support email: hello@ultrazone.app

More details in the legal notice.

2. What UltraZone is

UltraZone is a Windows app that arranges windows into zones on the screen, places games in a borderless zone and opens web pages inside a zone.

Requirements: Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. “Web in zone” uses Microsoft Edge WebView2, which comes with Windows 11 and with most Windows 10 computers. The app works with games in “Windowed” or “Borderless windowed” mode; it does not work with exclusive fullscreen.

The app only uses public Windows functions to move and resize windows. It doesn’t modify games, doesn’t access their memory and doesn’t interact with anti-cheat systems. Even so, we can’t guarantee that a particular game or service allows window management tools: it’s your responsibility to comply with the terms of the games and services you use with the app.

3. Free trial

  • You can try the app free for 14 days from when you start the trial, with every feature.
  • The trial is one per computer. So that it isn’t repeated, it’s recorded on our server with an anonymous computer identifier (explained in the privacy policy).
  • It needs an internet connection to start and, while it lasts, at least once every 2 days.
  • We don’t ask for payment details and nothing is charged when it ends. When it ends, the app stops working until you activate a license, and it returns any windows it had changed to their normal state.

4. Purchase

  • Purchases are made in Lemon Squeezy’s online store, which acts as reseller and merchant of record: it sells you the license, takes the payment, applies your country’s taxes (for example, VAT) and issues the invoice. Its terms also apply to the purchase and payment. The name of the selling entity is shown at checkout and on your invoice.
  • The price is the one shown on the checkout page before you pay, taxes included.
  • After paying you receive a license code by email. To activate it: in the app, Settings → License → paste the code → “Activate”.

5. The license

  • It’s a one-time payment: it entitles you to use the app with no time limit. It’s not a subscription.
  • There are two licenses: for 1 computer and for 2 computers. The code can be active at the same time on as many computers as your license allows. With the 2-computer license you can use UltraZone on two of your computers, or let another person (for example, someone in your household) use the second one.
  • You can move the license to another computer with “Free up this computer” (Settings → License) and activating it on the new one. If you no longer have the old computer, email us and we’ll free it up.
  • To check the license, the app connects to our server when you activate it and about once a day. Offline, it keeps working for up to 30 days; after that it needs to connect once.
  • It includes, at no cost, all UltraZone 1.x updates we release. A future version 2.0 or later may be sold separately; if it comes, the 1.x version you have will keep working.
  • You may not publish or hand out the code beyond the computers your license allows. You may transfer it permanently to another person: free up all your computers, give them the code and let us know at hello@ultrazone.app. From then on the license is theirs and you can no longer use it.

6. Withdrawal and refunds

  • In addition to any right of withdrawal you have by law, we refund the full amount if you ask within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Ask by replying to your Lemon Squeezy purchase email or at hello@ultrazone.app. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy. More details in the refund policy.
  • Once refunded, the license is no longer valid and the app stops working at the next check.

7. What you can and can’t do

You can install the app and use it, for personal or professional purposes, on the computers where your license is active.

You may not:

  • Redistribute the app, modified or not, or sell or publish it as your own. (The official download is free: you can link to it.)
  • Bypass, disable or tamper with the trial or the license check, or help others do so.
  • Decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it (for example, for interoperability, under Article 100 of the Spanish Intellectual Property Law).

The app, its code, its name and its design belong to the owner. You are granted a license to use it; the app is not sold. The third-party components it includes are governed by their own licenses (Settings → About → “Third-party notices”, or the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt file in the app folder).

Microsoft components. The app includes Microsoft components (Windows App SDK and WebView2). Microsoft is not a party to this agreement. You may only use those components as part of the app: you may not extract, separate or use them on their own, or remove their notices. These terms don’t give you any rights to Microsoft’s trademarks. To the extent permitted by law, Microsoft and its suppliers provide no warranty and accept no liability to you for those components. You must comply with the export control laws that apply to the app.

8. Warranty

  • The app carries the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content: we are liable for any lack of conformity that exists when it’s supplied and shows up within the following two years. If something doesn’t work as described in these terms or on the website, email us: we’ll fix it and, if that’s not possible, refund you.
  • We release the security and compatibility updates needed for the app to keep working for as long as you can reasonably expect.
  • We can’t guarantee that the app works with every game, program, monitor or setup, or that future versions of Windows or of third-party software won’t affect how it works.

9. Liability

  • The app changes the position, size and borders of windows, and may hide the taskbar while a game is in game mode. Everything is reversible: when you close the app, close the window or move it to another zone, it goes back to its previous state. If the app closes unexpectedly, it restores any windows it had changed the next time it opens.
  • We are not liable for indirect damage or for loss of data in other programs caused by using the app contrary to these terms.
  • Nothing above limits our liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury, or the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

10. End of the license

The license ends if the purchase is refunded, if the payment is reversed (for example, by a chargeback) or if you seriously breach these terms (for example, by bypassing the license check or publishing the code). In that case the app stops working.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example because of legal changes or changes to the app. Changes don’t take away what you’ve already bought (the license and the included 1.x updates). If a change is important, you’ll see it in the app or on the website before it applies.

12. Governing law, language and complaints

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you are also protected by the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence. First, please email us at hello@ultrazone.app: we’ll try to sort it out. You can also contact the consumer services of your region or country.

These terms exist in Spanish and English. If they differ, the Spanish version prevails.
