Which versions of Windows are supported?
Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) and Windows 11, 64-bit. UltraZone is designed for 21:9 and 32:9 monitors, but zones work on any screen and across multiple monitors.
Is it only for ultrawide monitors?
No. It’s designed with ultrawides in mind, but it works just as well on a large 16:9 monitor, such as a 32-inch 4K display: there’s room for several windows side by side, and Game Zone keeps your game at a comfortable size.
Will it trigger anti-cheat?
UltraZone never injects code into games or reads their memory. It only moves and resizes windows, using the same public APIs Windows uses. We can’t speak for every anti-cheat system, but nothing in UltraZone touches a game’s process.
What are profiles?
They’re the different ways you use your PC: work, gaming, streaming… Each profile remembers which layout every monitor uses, the apps you want at hand and the zone each one goes to, its shortcuts, and its favorite and open websites. When you switch profiles (from the app, the tray icon or a shortcut), any missing apps open and every window moves into place instantly. UltraZone never closes your apps when you switch.
Does it work with exclusive fullscreen games?
Game Zone needs the game in windowed or borderless windowed mode. Exclusive fullscreen takes over the whole display, so it can’t be placed in a zone. Almost every modern game offers a windowed mode.
How does Web in zone work?
Each website opens in its own borderless window, sized to fit the zone. When you hit a video player’s fullscreen button, the video fills the zone instead of the whole monitor. It runs on Microsoft Edge WebView2, which comes with Windows 11 and is already installed on most Windows 10 PCs. Some streaming services with copy protection may not play.
What happens when the trial ends?
After 14 days, you’ll need a license to keep using UltraZone. It reminds you a few days before, and when the trial ends it puts every window it placed back where it was, so your desktop is never left half-arranged. You can buy and activate your key right from the app.
What do I get when I buy?
A perpetual license with every feature, for one active PC at a time, including updates for the current major version. It’s a one-time payment of €14.99 — no subscription.
Do I need to be online?
To start the trial, and at least every 2 days while it lasts. With a license, only to activate it: after that, UltraZone checks it about once a day and keeps working offline for up to 30 days. Websites in Web in zone need a connection, of course.
I got a new PC. What now?
On your old PC, open Settings → License and click “Free up this computer”. Then activate your license on the new one. No need to contact support.
How does it update?
On its own. UltraZone checks for new versions in the background, downloads them and installs them when you quit or click “Restart and update”. It never interrupts you mid-game.
How do I report a bug or suggest an improvement?
From the app’s Help & Support page. Describe what happened or what you’d like, and UltraZone prepares the report — with system info if you choose to include it — so you can open it on GitHub or copy it and send it wherever you like.
Does UltraZone collect any data?
No. There’s no account and no telemetry. Your settings, layouts and profiles are stored on your PC. The app only goes online for the trial and license, to check for updates, and to load the websites you open in Web in zone.
